A note on the Essie glitter polish I got the other day
Obviously, it looks fabulous.
When I put it on the other day, I realized I was probably never going to get it off. It’s thick. However, today it just started coming off my nails, in complete sheets. I just knock the corner of it on something and it pops right off. I have three fingernail-shaped pieces of glitter on my desk.
It’s great that I won’t have to fight with it to get it off, but I’m kind of sad now, because I have random empty fingers. But it did it’s job, which was to get some sort of color on my nails to help quit the nervous biting I did in my last couple days of travel. My nails look presentable again, at least, even if they’re not glittery any more.

You guys! Check out the adorable mini-trio that my Lady who Lacquers sent my way! Jess picked out these fantastic colors to carry me through the seasons. I have a feeling that she meant for me to wear the lavender now and to save the others for fall, but since I am a) clueless and b) really into yellow right now, I put on the one on the right almost as soon as I opened the box. How’s that for a brain fart?
I went a couple of days with no paint on my nails, so tonight I thought hey, I should paint them before I start to chew on them again. I pick up my base coat and go to paint my thumb and lo and behold, it’s ruby red.
Yeah, I totally painted them last night and completely forgot about it.
