Good news, everyone!

I have been worried sick all day about that tour from last night. I’m embarrassed by the whole situation, and I didn’t want to have a complaint on my record after only having been there a couple months.

I just got word that the woman did call to complain, but she complained about the tour situation as a whole and not about me specifically. She complained that they never should have been allowed out in those conditions (which weren’t that bad if you weren’t a complete idiot), and that they didn’t see anything, (which is a flat out lie, because we saw dolphins and pelicans and a couple cool wood storks).

My boss does not blame me, because he saw how moronic they were right from the start when one of the women couldn’t fucking turn her boat around even with three of us standing there telling her how to do it. She tried to get her money back and my boss told her that wasn’t happening.

I know that I’m majorly prone to overreaction, and that I needn’t have been as tied up in knots about it as I was, but I take pride in working hard and doing a good job and to have things go monstrously wrong like that was seriously freaking me out.

It’s over now though, and the coolest boss in the history of bosses had my back and I feel like crying again, only out of relief this time instead of frustration.

Best of all, it means I get to keep the best job I’ve ever had and I’m really, really happy about that.
